Старинная деревянная дача в Вырице (начало XX в.).
Вырица — большой (даже огромный) посёлок в Ленинградской области, ставший популярным дачным местом после открытия здесь в 1904 году ЖД-станции.
Место как-то не особо на слуху, между тем Вырица — must-see для любителей деревянного модерна и в целом дореволюционной деревянной архитектуры. Здесь сохранились десятки красивых старинных дач, большинство за заборами (т.е. близко не подойти), но эти заборы в основном «правильные» — невысокие либо в виде сетки, которая позволяет всё рассмотреть и сфотографировать.
В следующих постах расскажу о нюансах, на которые стоит обратить внимание, планируя визит в Вырицу, и приведу свой личный топ-10 домов, которые непременно стоит увидеть.

An old wooden dacha in Vyritsa (beginning of the 20th century).
Vyritsa is a huge village in the Leningrad region, which became popular after the opening of a railway station here in 1904.
This place is a must-see for lovers of wooden Art Nouveau and, in general, vintage wooden architecture. Dozens of old dachas have been preserved here; most buildings are behind fences (so you can’t get close), but these fences are mostly “correct” — low or in the form of a grid that allows you to see and photograph everything.
