🇫🇷 🇷🇺 Monument for Russian expeditionary corps, which fought in France during First World War(1914-1918). After falling of Russian Empire whole Russian army and this corps was disbanded, but part of soldiers and officers continued their war and created new troop which called “Russian legion of honor”. These soldiers and officers continued used Russian Imperial uniform and epaulets and was first from allies armies who broke through the Defense Hindenburg’s line. They fought till end of war then went to Russia for fighting against Bolsheviks.
