After a long period of search with Princess Giulia Romanoff (Giulia Crespi), we have found a grave of Princess Janet Romanoff who was the wife of Prince Nikita Nikitich Romanoff (1923 – 2007) and a mother of Prince Theodore Nikitich Romanoff (1974 – 2007). Born as Janet Schonwald in Oklahoma she married Prince Nikita Romanoff in 1961 and together they had one son.
Princess Janet was a talented scientist and a very kind person. After the death of her husband and son in 2007 she moved to Egypt and made Alexandria her home. Princess Janet became a philanthropist and benefactor of children’s education. She died in 2017 and was buried in Cairo War Memorial Cemetery.
