There is little written about Sergei in English, nor are there very many photos of him, so this is a welcome memory of him.
On 18th July 1918, he was one of six members of the Romanov family [including Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna], who were murdered by the Bolsheviks near Alapaevsk. His body has never been recovered.
