George Mikhailovich Brasov was born in Moscow on 6 August (O.S. 24 July) 1910. He was the only child of Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich (1878-1918) and his mistress, Natalia Sergeyevna Wulfert (later Natalia Brasova, 1880-1952).
George died on 21st July 1931, as a result of injuries sustained during an auto accident in the South of France. He was buried in Passy Cemetery in Paris.
