Надгробие, оформленное в стиле модерн, на иудейском участке Егошихинского кладбища в Перми.
Признаться, возлагала на это старинное кладбище большие надежды в плане модерна или просто интересных старинных надгробий, но чего-то выдающегося в этом плане там совсем немного, а уж модерна и вовсе больше не нашла🙄
PS. Металлическая конструкция напоминает мне старинную фоторамку со странной пустотой внутри — возможно, изначально в центре был портрет? Могло такое быть, или у евреев так не принято?

Frankly, I had high hopes for this ancient cemetery in terms of interesting old tombstones, but there is not so much to look at, and no more Art Nouveau at all🙄
PS. The metal structure reminds me of an old photo frame with a strange emptiness inside — perhaps there was a portrait in the center originally? Could this be, or is it not accepted among the Jews?
