Загибающийся кимрский модерн — бывший дом купца Теплова, начало XX века.
В советское время здание успело побыть музеем, домом учителя, районным домом культуры, в 2000-х здесь была дискотека. Во время моего визита в апреле 2021 внутри располагалось что-то детско-творческое. Дальше вестибюля пройти не удалось, но, по словам сотрудников, от интерьеров, увы, ничего не сохранилось😢
Как видно на старом фото, годы внесли свои корректировки и во внешний вид дома — не сохранилась восхитительная расстекловка омегообразных окон первого этажа, заложен проезд во двор справа, над входом в подвал появился козырек из поликарбоната, уродующий фасад. Да и сам фасад находится, мягко говоря, в неудовлетворительном состоянии…

Bending Kimry Art Nouveau — the former house of the merchant Teplov, the beginning of the 20th century.
In Soviet times, the building managed to be a museum, a teacher’s house, a regional house of culture, in the 2000s there was a disco here. During my visit in April 2021, there was something child-creative inside. It was not possible to go further than the lobby, but, according to the staff, nothing has survived from the interiors😢
As you can see in the old photo, the years have made their own adjustments to the appearance of the house — the delightful deglazing of the omega-shaped windows of the first floor has not been preserved, the passage to the courtyard on the right has been laid, a polycarbonate canopy has appeared above the entrance to the basement, disfiguring the facade. And the facade itself is in an unsatisfactory condition…
