Загадочное сооружение на одной из главных площадей старой Пензы — Соборной. На Яндекс-картах оно именуется ротондой, на Викимапии — часовней, якобы построенной в 1913 году к 300-летнему юбилею династии Романовых и лишившейся крестов в 1920-е.
На самом деле миниатюрная постройка имеет сугубо практическое назначение — это башня насосной станции, под ней расположен резервуар для воды.

A mysterious building on one of the main squares of old Penza — Cathedral. On Yandex maps it is called a rotunda, on Wikimapia — a chapel, allegedly built in 1913 for the 300th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty and lost its crosses in the 1920s.
In fact, the miniature building has a purely practical purpose — it is a tower of a pumping station, under it there is a water tank.
